DESCRIPTION:

Þ    Ferric pyrophosphate is an iron replacement product. This ferric ion is strongly complexed by pyrophosphate. It presents an increasing interest as this insoluble form can be milder in the GI tract and presents higher bioavailability.

Þ    Vitamin b12 is a water-soluble vitamin. It is important for protein metabolism. It helps in the formation of RBCs and in the maintenance of the nervous system.

Þ    Folate, also known as Vitamin B9 and folacin, is one of the B vitamins. It is required by the body to make DNA and RNA and metabolize amino acids necessary for cell division and maturation of blood cells.
