Each film coated tablet contains-

·       Cefixime IP (as Trihydrate)

(Eq. to Anhydrous Cefixime) 200mg

·       Azithromycin IP (as Dihydrate)

(Eq. to Anhydrous Azithromycin) 250mg

·       Lactic Acid Bacillus 60 million spores

·       Excipients q.s.

Þ    Ingredient Usage-

·       Cefixime belongs to the class of medicines known as cephalosporin antibiotics. It works by killing bacteria or preventing their growth.

·       Azithromycin prevents bacteria from growing by interfering with their protein synthesis. It binds to the subunit of bacterial ribosome, thus inhibiting the translation of mRNA. Due to its high concentration of phygocytes, it is actively transported to the site of infections.

·       LABs is a beneficial lactic-acid providing bacteria that supports the growth of friendly bacteria in the intestine and maintains a healthy balance of microflora in the gut environment. It restores the good gut bacteria.
