·       Each 5ml of the reconstituted suspension contains:

Cefixime Trihydrate

(Eq. to Anhydrous Cefixime) IP 50mg

Ofloxacin IP 50mg

Excipients q.s.

Þ    Ingredient Usage-

·       Cefixime (trihydrate) belongs to the class of medicines known as cephalosporin antibiotics. It works by killing the bacteria and preventing their growth.

·       Ofloxacin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that is active against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It functions by inhibiting the bacterial division.

Þ    Indications-

·       Treatment of typhoid fever.

·       Treatment of bacterial infections such as ear, sinus, throat, lung, urinary tract, skin and soft tissues.
