COMPOSITION-

Each Film coated tablet contains:

Cefixime Trihydrate (Eq. to Anhydrous Cefixime) 200mg

Sulbactam Sodium (Eq. to Sulbactam) 150mg

Excipients q.s.

DESCRIPTION-

Þ    Cefixime is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic that works by inhibiting the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall, leading to the death of the bacteria. It is effective against a broad spectrum of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, treating various bacterial infections.

Þ   Sulbactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that prevents bacterial resistance by inhibiting beta-lactamase enzymes produced by bacteria to inactivate antibiotics. It enhances the efficacy of Cefixime by preventing antibiotic resistance, allowing it to effectively kill bacteria
