COMPOSITION-

Each uncoated tablet contains:

§  Meclizine Hydrochloride IP 25mg

§  Pyridoxine Hydrochloride IP 50mg

§  Folic Acid IP 2.5mg

§  Excipients q.s.

DESCRIPTION-

• Mecfol-B6 with a combination of Meclizine Hydrochloride and Pyridoxine Hydrochloride treats the issues of morning sickness, nausea & vomiting associated with pregnancy.
• Folic Acid in the combination supplements the low blood levels of folate (folate deficiency) if any.

BENEFITS-

·       Meclizine Hydrochloride has been used to control nausea& vomiting during pregnancy. It is more effective than the placebo.

·       Pyridoxine Hydrochloride is an antiemetic (anti nausea & vomiting) agent used to treat nausea and vomiting in pregnant women.

·       Folic Acid helps form the neural tube. It prevents major birth defects of the baby’s brain (anencephaly) and spine (spina bifida)

DOSAGES-

2 tablets at bedtime. If needed 1 tablet in morning. Or as directed by the doctor.
