DESCRIPTION:

Þ   Ondansetron is in a class of medications called Serotonin 5-HT3 receptor antagonists.

Þ   It works by blocking the action of serotonin, a natural substance that may cause nausea and vomiting.

INDICATIONS:

Þ   Prevents vomiting and nausea.
