Peprid Tab

Composition:

·       Ondansetron’s antiemetic action is mediated mostly via antagonism of vagal afferents with a minor contribution from antagonism of central receptors.

·       Works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (serotonin) in the brain that may cause nausea and vomiting.

·       Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) which works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in the relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

Indications:

·       Treats nausea, vomiting, stomach ulcers, gastro-oesphageal reflux disease (GERD), heartburn and erosive oesophagitis (acid related damage to the lining of the oesphagus)

·       Treats infections caused by Helicobacter pylori and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome

·       Heals the ulcers and prevents the formation of new ulcers.

·       Works by blocking serotonin  (chemical messengers) that triggers nausea and vomiting.
