Ondansetron's antiemetic action is mediated mostly via antagonism of vagal afferents with a minor contribution from antagonism of central receptors.
Works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (serotonin) in the brain that may cause nausea and vomiting.
Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) which works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helos in the relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

Indication:

• Treats nausea, vomiting, stomach ulcers, gastro-oesphageal reflux disease (GERD), heartburn and erosive esophagitis (acid related damage to the lining of the oesphagus)
• Treats infections caused by Helicobacter pvlori and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome
• Heals the ulcers and prevents the formation of new ulcers.
• Works by blocking serotonin (chemical messengers)
that triggers nausea and vomiting.
