Ambroxol works to thin down and break up the phlegm (sputum) and is used to clear congestion in the treatment of respiratory diseases with thick or too much phlegm.
Terbutaline is a class of medication called beta agonists. It works by relaxing and opening the airways, making it easier to breathe. It prevents and treats wheezing, shortness of breath and chest tightness caused by asthma, chronic bronchitis and emphysema.
Guaiphenesin is a class of medication called expectorants. It is used to relieve chest congestion.
