Þ    Composition-

Each vial contains:

Sterile Piperacillin Sodium IP (eq. to Piperacillin) 1000mg

Sterile Tazobactum Sodium IP (eq. to Tazobactum) 125mg

Þ    Ingredient Usage-

·       Tazobactum is a pharmaceutical drug that inhibits the action of bacterial b-lactamases. It is an ingredient that can be added to certain antibiotics to make them less vulnerable to bacteria’s antimicrobial resistance.

·       Piperacillin is in a class of medications called penicillin antibiotics. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria.

·       Tazobactum not only reduces resistance but also enhances the activity of Piperacillin against bacteria.

·       Bacterial Infections.

·       Hospital-acquired and Ventilator-associated pneumonia.

·       Urinary Tract Infections.

·       Intra-abdominal infections.

·       Skin and soft tissue infections.

·       Uterine Infections.
