Teedox 162.5 Dry Syp

Each film coated tablet contains:
Cefpodoxime Proxetil (eq. to cefpodoxime) 200mg
Potassium Clavulanate.
(eq. to Clavulanic acid) 125mg

Each 5 ml. contains:
Cefpodoxime Proxetil (eq.to cefpodoxime) 100mg Potassium Clavulanate
(eq. to Clavulanic acid) 62.5mg

CEFPODOXIME

• A third generation semi-synthetic cephalosporin, exhibits activity against several gram positive as well as gram negative micro organisms.

CLAVULANATE

• Abeta lactamase inhibitor that enhances the antibacterial activity.
• Binds to beta lactamase moieties & inactivates them, thus restricting the cefpodoxime destruction

Indication:

• Upper & Lower respiratory tract infections
• Urinary tract infections
• Gonorrhoea
• Pyrexia of unknown origin
• Skin and soft tissue infections
