CEFPODOXIME

• A third generation semi-synthetic cephalosporin, exhibits activity against several gram positive as well as gram negative micro organisms.

CLAVULANATE

• A beta lactamase inhibitor that enhances the antibacterial activity.
• Binds to beta lactamase moieties & inactivates them, thus restricting the cefpodoxime destruction

: Indication:

• Upper & lower respiratory tract infections
• Urinary tract infections
• Gonorrhoea
• Pyrexia of unknown origin
• Skin and soft tissue infections
