·       Methylprednisolone Succinate IP 40mg

Þ    Ingredient Usage-

·       Methylprednisolone succinate is a corticosteroid hormone. It works on the immune system to help relive swelling, redness, itching and allergic reactions.

Þ    Indications-

·       Dermatological – severe erythema multiforme (Stevens-Johnson Syndrome)

·       Allergic states- Bronchial asthma, Angioneurotic oedema, Anaphylaxis

·       Gastro-Intestinal- Ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease

·       Respiratory- Aspiration of gastric contents, Fulminating or disseminated tuberculosis

·       Neurological- Cerebral oedema secondary to cerebral tumor, acute exacerbations of multiple sclerosis superimposed on a relapsing-remitting background.

·       Miscellaneous- T.B. meningitis (with appropriate antituberculous chemotherapy), Transplantation
