DESCRIPTION:

·       Dydrogesterone is a highly selective progestogen, and due to its unique structure, unlike progesterone and many other progestins, binds almost exclusively to progesterone receptor (PR).

·       It is a female hormone that regulates ovulation and menstruation in women.

·       It helps maintaining a healthy womb lining during pregnancy.

INDICATIONS:

Þ    Threatened or recurrent miscarriage during pregnancy.

Þ    Dysfunctional bleeding

Þ    Infertility due to luteal insufficiency

Þ    Dysmenorrhea

Þ    Endometriosis

Þ    Secondary amenorrhea

Þ    Irregular cycles

Þ    Premenstrual syndrome

Þ    Component of menopausal hormone therapy
